Facilities
Our facilities include a total of approximately 9500 square feet increased to this size by a recent two story addition of approximately 6800 square feet which includes an elevator. Premises are fully heated and air conditioned with regional temperature controls to conserve energy. In addition to a lovely sanctuary and offices for the pastor and secretary, we have special rooms for youth, a computer lab, an art room for preschool folds, and a media room in addition to a large general purpose gathering room. Our social hall is spacious, inviting and adjacent to a large, convenient and modern kitchen.
Aside from routine building uses for serving needs of our congregation, St. Paul Lutheran is recognized for its community outreach in serving others in a variety of ways. Organizations and groups such as Love, INC, TOPS, Quilters, Scouts, family gatherings/dinners, weddings and cluster meetings to mention a few are welcomed and indeed encouraged to use our resources for worthy causes.
Mission Endowment Fund
St. Paul has a Mission Endowment Fund of approximately $50,000. We encourage members to make gifts to this fund which operates in perpetuity since principle amounts donated are permanently invested in income producing mutual funds and only the income from these funds is used for outreach activities. This fund currently generates in excess of $2500 annually which is used for a variety of purposes such as camp scholarships, Dove, partial college scholarships, Love, INC, youth activities, struggling ELCA churches, Synod support, a Synod education fund, food bank, among others.
Typical giving to this fund may take the form of real property, life insurance proceeds, investments, memorial gifts and possible bequests as an expression of one's thanks to God for the countless blessing bestowed upon each one of us.
